I had recently bought a diamond pendant necklace for my girlfriend's birthday which, she loved, but after a month we noticed a black mark inside of the diamond that we hadn't seen before. I brought the necklace into your store in Dallas and spoke with Ashley. She was very helpful and informed me that all diamonds have their own distinct "fingerprint", and even though this black mark appeared as a blemish, it was actually a part of this diamond’s uniqueness. Instead of offering to trade in the diamond or upgrade it for more money, she simply stated that as is, the diamond was of very high quality, even comparing it's color and clarity to other diamonds in the display which could not match the luster of the one I had chosen. I was completely surprised by this and so thankful that she didn't just try and sucker me into spending way more money on a different stone.
What was even more helpful was when she noticed that the chain was easily becoming tangled and offered a better quality chain to fix this problem, and at a fraction of what it would have caused to replace the diamond! I was so impressed with the level of service I received from the moment I walked in the door that I will never shop at another jewelry store again! My wife and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in September, so I wanted to do something a little more special this Christmas. I met Leya on my first trip into your store. Leya greeted me with a huge smile and friendly disposition. I was very comfortable working with her right off the bat. She inquired into the type of purchase I was interested in and probed just enough to narrow my search. Then she proceeded to find the ideal diamond anniversary band for my wife. I was extremely satisfied with my purchase and anxious for Christmas to arrive. But after seeing the diamond solitaire on my wife’s finger that evening, which I had purchased over 25 years ago, I realized that an upgrade was in order. So it was back to visit Leya on December 23rd to see what we could do. When I entered the store and approached Leya, it was like greeting an old friend. I told her what I was thinking regarding a new diamond solitaire. We talked a bit after which she brought me a couple of diamonds to view. She gave me the loop so that I could get a good look at what I would be purchasing. Leya provided that little extra in customer service by “modeling” the new solitaire with the anniversary band, which helped me confirm my decision and finalize the purchase.
As I was getting ready to pay for my purchase, Leya and I continued our conversation. I explained how sentimental my wife was about that first .25ct diamond solitaire I bought her when I asked her to marry me. I just knew that my wife wouldn’t want to displace that original diamond and place it in her jewelry box to collect dust. It was then that Leya provided an inexpensive and practical idea of purchasing a gold pendant and setting the diamond from my wife’s old ring in the pendent so that she could wear it every day. What a great idea this was!
My wife shed many tears of joy this past holiday when I presented her with these gifts.
